NSFW:: Hotties Raise Cancer Awareness With #CockInASock Campaign

Jason St. Amand READ TIME: 2 MIN.

The selfie has reached a new level. The best level. The hottest level.

Handsome men with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other social media accounts are following a new trend called #CockInASock in order to raise cancer awareness.

The hashtag is pretty self-explanatory, but men across the Internet are slipping their penises into socks and taking 98% nude selfies. Add the hashtag to that bad boy and boom: cancer awareness. I just spent the last 10 minutes getting aware of cancer.

As the British newspaper the Independent reports, the trend comes after the "no makeup selfie" trend, where women posted makeup-less photos of themselves on social media.

#CockInaSock specifically aims to raise awareness about testicular cancer, the Independent notes. According to Gay News Network, the campaign, which has gone viral, was started by a British-based cancer research group called Cancer Research UK.

A Cock in a Sock Facebook pageand Twitter account has been set up to promote the trend. The Facebook page currently has more than 100,000 likes and more than 3,200 followers on Twitter.

Between 7,500 and 8,000 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer each year in the U.S. It's the most common kind of cancer for men between 20 and 39.

BuzzFeed has aggregated a bunch of the (NSFW) #cockinasock selfies. Check them out here.
