Controversial YouTuber Jake Paul is finding himself in the headlines again, this time for saying he might still continue with his partying lifestyle despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

His comments came in a new interview with Insider where Paul said said he didn't regret throwing a huge house party at his California home. Last month, he came under fire after video footage of the event went viral on social media. In the videos, dozens of people were seen partying at his home in Calabasas without wearing masks. Paul drew ire not only from Twitter but the mayor of Calabasas as well.

When speaking with Insider, Paul didn't say if he'd stop partying after the incident.

"I don't know what to think of it, to be honest. I don't think anyone really does," Paul said about California's rising COVID-19 cases. "No one has answers, our leadership is failing us, and everyone kind of just doesn't know what to do. But I personally am not the type of person who's gonna sit around and not live my life."

Calabasas Mayor Alicia Weintraub also spoke with Insider and said the local sheriff's department has been warned about Paul's parties and that if he's hosting another, the authorities would be breaking it up and "possible financial penalties would be issued," writes the outlet.

Fellow YouTube star Tyler Oakley's response to Paul's comments went viral on Twitter. Check out below and click here to read Insider's full piece on Paul.
