Watch: JoJo Siwa on Why She Wasn't at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards

Fresh off her debut of a new super cute pixie cut, dancing star JoJo Siwa has taken to social media to explain why she was absent from Saturday night's Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Siwa had a super simple explanation why she wasn't at the event: she wasn't invited.
"A lot of you have been asking me why I'm not at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards tonight, and the answer is very simple – I wasn't invited," Siwa explained in a short video posted to Instagram. "I'm not sure why, but I just didn't get an invite."
As it turns out, Siwa also found out that her song "One Chance" was used during the show, which made things extra confusing for the star.
"My song made the cut, but not me," she said in the video.
Siwa might not be sure why she was not invited, but celebrities nonetheless have come out to call out Nickelodeon's actions.
Snooki declared, "I'm gonna write a note" and tagging Nickelodeon in her comment.
While YouTuber and resume padder Olivia Jade commented, "Their loss sweetness."
Siwa also retweeted fans who suggested that the reason she did not get an invite is because she came out and cut her iconic ponytail.
"You're a class act," wrote DWTS pro Emma Slater. "They totally lost out @itsjojosiwa not a problem for you tho."
Regardless of the real reason she was not invited to the ceremony, Siwa is not letting it get her down. She had a better day on Sunday and let her followers know it. See her post below.
