Is 'A Star Is Born' Coming to Broadway?

The most recent "A Star Is Born" is rumored to be coming to Broadway. As reported by BroadwayWorld, the story, that has been adapted time and time again on screen, might be finally hitting the stage.

With the original story beginning in 1937, and subsequent film adaptations in 1954 and 1976, rumors in 2017 were swirling that a stage adaptation of the 1954 film was on the way.

However, instead, fans were treated to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's mega hit with mega music in 2018. Now an reportedly an adaptation adapted from Cooper and Gaga's hit is on the way.

Showbiz 411 reported that a "source" said that the adaption is already in the process of development with a director, cast or timeline not set at this time.

However, what is known is that Gaga and B-Coopers version was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor. The film also won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Shallow."
