Gay Twitter Roundup: 'Heartstopper' Hotties, Brazil is Back & 'Agatha' was Lesbian All Along

X (formerly Twitter) is its own not-so-little universe – a place with bizarre, ever-changing rules, fascinating people who are experts in things we've never heard of before, no belief in the laws of gravity or civility, and a very specific brand of humor that brings people from all over the world together even in our darkest moments.

Queer people being on X makes it all the more interesting, twisted, horny, and culturally impactful. No one's doing it (being iconic, horny, and unhinged on main in equal measure) like us! And because it's important to acknowledge our heroes both online and off, we will take this moment to celebrate the great tweeters of our time (by which we mean, literally just the last week.).

What's been going on? Well, we're still riding high on the Charli xcx-express, so we're sure to be dancing to all the new remixes. We're revisiting timeless pop culture moments like the parallels between the making of The Matrix and this Charli xcx music video. And we're showing up to the airport entrance gate with a sign that our Twitter oomfs will immediately recognize.

So much has happened: An emotional "Heartstopper" Season 3 dropped, and with it came a very hot Jonathan Bailey, whose main role it seems, was to be hot on set and be complimented for his hotness in the show. Someone tried to make a gender neutral "diva" happen; Kathryn Hahn rocked our worlds with the lesbian energy in "Agatha All Along," and then did it again when she joined Instagram under the handle "mother Hahn."

We celebrated International Lesbian Day with inside jokes and sapphic yearning, and –perhaps most importantly– Brazilian Twitter came back to us! Fandoms across the world have been rejoicing at the return of our bravest online soldiers, the fiercest fans of them all. Though for some people (one Lorde fan, specifically), it was a rude awakening. Let's look back at the fun Gay Twitter had:

We lost our dear comrades in fandom and online gossip a few weeks ago, as Elon Musk decided to ban their X accounts and force them to say farewell to us. But now, in an excellent plot twist and tons of hard work behind the scenes, Brazilians are able to return to their accounts and continue to inspire us to be more enthusiastic fans. With one exception: The person running that one Lorde account.

One thing Gay Twitter is always gonna be: Horny.

Whether it's confessing how much you "need his tip" or announcing that you'll find a way to make an additional hole for the third celebrity in the photograph... These are the days of our lives. We especially want to thank X user evilrashida for reminding us that sometimes we must resist overthinking and elaborately preparing for a stressful Halloween week, and instead go back to the basics of Halloween: wearing slutty outfits.

This new season of "Heartstopper" is so emotional, and Jonathan Bailey is so, so hot. It was such an incredible career choice for Bailey to join the cast in a role where he's only on set to be complimented for his good looks and natural charm, then disappears into the real world. And yeah, we're a little obsessed with the idea of Tao's sexuality simply being... Letterboxd.

Before you come out to your family, it's so important to take the time to process and consider the most important question: What about Zayn? This year's International Lesbian Day was a special one. We remembered queer pop culture icons like Jodie Foster; Drew Barrymore and Kathryn Hahn caressed each other's bare legs live on national TV; And we rejoiced at the new Marvel show, "Agatha All Along" being laced with the exact sapphic energy that we hoped for.
