10 Gorgeous, Ambitious, Multitalented Celebs We Love this Capricorn Season

Andrea Marks Joseph READ TIME: 11 MIN.

Capricorns are known as the hardest workers of the zodiac. They are ambitious, determined, kind, and loyal. Committed to achieving their goals and imagining a future that's richer than most of us dare to dream, they're credited as visionaries, leaders with unrivaled talent, and trailblazers who change the worlds they live and work in for the better. As confident and successful as they are, Capricorns remain down-to-earth humble, grounded, and are incredibly supportive friends. They're wonderful at making those around them feel comfortable, and would do anything for those they love. Per Allure: "Although they're very selective about who they let into their lives, Capricorns are incredibly gracious friends who pride themselves on honesty and loyalty. Even if Capricorn is knee-deep in deadlines and high-stakes crises, they will go out of their way to consider the needs of their closest companions."

The Capricorns we're celebrating are gorgeous, talented, shining examples of the brilliant and ambitious starsign. Queer powerhouses like "Wicked" star Cynthia Erivo, "SNL" icon Kate McKinnon, and "Pose" breakout Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. Capricorns are multitalented and passionate about their work, which is varied and impressive across industries, like talented actor and sustainability advocate Taylor Zakhar Perez, couture model and enchanting actress Hunter Schafer, and iconic pop sensation and captivating actor Ricky Martin. These Capricorns achieving all their wildest dreams and showing us how it's done is how they become examples for the limitless possibilities that come with being queer and talented right now. They're hot, they're built for unlimited possibility, and we are living for it.

Luke Macfarlane

Luke Macfarlane's career and life so far has exemplified the hardworking, trailblazing energy we expect from a Capricorn. The Hallmark hunk and "Bros" actor is everything that we use to describe this star sign: Dynamic and multitalented, exuding a natural humility and putting others at ease when he's around them. "Did you know?" Hallmark's website asks us, "Macfarlane graduated from Juilliard and plays the cello. He loves reading and also enjoys woodworking." The actor and musician understands the responsibility of a career and life as influential as his. He shines bright in his roles on set, and in his position as a guiding light for queer people who look up to him and see hope in the life he's building. With a young child, a rich career, and a bright future on our screens as a part of shows like "Hacks," and renovating reality shows with Hallmark+, we love that we'll continue to see this queer Capricorn shine, leading the way for many actors and queer parents as he does so.

Ricky Martin

We can't even begin to imagine the work ethic and dedication it takes to have a career as extensive, impactful, and successful as Ricky Martin's. The handsome "Palm Royale" actor and Puerto Rican pop sensation, a casual thirst trapper and passionate foot-lover, is a Capricorn through and through. Capricorns are not all work no play, though; They know how to enjoy the lifestyle that comes with success in their industry, and we love that for him. One of Martin's recent exceptional achievements is playing the unforgettable, endearing and entertaining Robert on "Palm Royale," a waiter, pool boy, a romantic, and a caretaker of a spiraling Kristen Wiig. "I love difficult tasks," the star shared during his press tour for the Apple TV+ series. "I'm a Capricorn. I like difficult things. If it's challenging, I'm in." And if it's as stylish, sexy and fun as this queer celeb, so are we.

Orville Peck

With his signature mask and warm, contagious smile, the country musician (whose nude Paper magazine photoshoot we're still thinking about) is paving a radiant new way to be an artist expressing creativity and being in the public eye; Creative, talented, and visionary in each step of his career, we love to see the bright, queer space the "Happy Trails" singer has carved out for himself. When asked about his signature fringed mask and status as a "Country crooner," Peck told Apple Music that "the point is combining ultra-sincerity with a heightened version of who you are at your core," which conveys so much of what we love about the queer star and Capricorn musician.

Taylor Zakhar Perez

Allure describes Capricorns as people who "have a grounded, practical spirit that makes people feel comfortable in their presence. Although they're very selective about who they let into their lives," the magazine continues, "Capricorns are incredibly gracious friends who pride themselves on honesty and loyalty." In true Capricorn style, Zakhar Perez is private about his personal life and clear about his loved ones being precious to him. This dazzling, incomprehensibly sexy man, who mastered the looks of both true love and horny mischief in queer rom-com "Red, White & Royal Blue" –and will star in its wildly anticipated sequel, is everything a Capricorn can be, and so much more. He's so hot, exceptionally talented, passionate about sustainable fashion and diverse representation on screen, and lives out his values in every aspect of his life. Cosmopolitan says Capricorns "always look good too, because presenting a put-together, expensive and well styled front to the world is important to them. They tend to have dark, brooding good looks" –and if that isn't TZP to a tee, we don't know what is.

Dylan Mulvaney

When describing how Capricorns are born to take initiative and follow their dreams with imagination and innovation, Cosmopolitan says that they "don't turn away from a blank sheet of paper, they write a new story!" It's all very "Days of Girlhood," and we can't wait to see what else Dylan Mulvaney will paint into the beautiful, generous gift that is her life. One of these gifts from sweet, stylish delight Mulvaney to us, following her one-woman comedy show "Fag Hag," is her upcoming book, "Paper Doll: Notes from a Late Bloomer," a collection of journal entries from her first year of transition, "as well as essays following some of the messier moments."

David Archuleta

The adorable musician has charmed the nation with his voice and powerful coming out story, and he continues to shine and grow in his role as a queer celeb. It's especially clear that Archuleta's been having a lot more fun with his celeb status recently, finding comfort in publicly expressing his confidence as a queer person. We've loved seeing the "Hell Together" singer (and winner of Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist at this year's GLAAD Media Awards!) grow. Every new podcast episode he guests on comes with a joyfully delivered, saucy confession from Archuleta, and makes us more thankful for his queerness and all that he has overcome to be here –out and proud, sexy and scandalous in his own way. As he's a true Capricorn, we know this is all only the beginning of a career, and a life, that will be colorful and wonderful in monumental, meaningful ways.

Hunter Schafer

Ethereal model and enchanting actor Hunter Schafter serves otherworldly beauty when she's modeling, particularly when it's couture, and she delivers breathtaking, complex performances when she's in her acting bag. Schafer told GQ that she's interested in and currently pursuing her plans to direct –starting with music videos and a short film before she considers doing her own show and potentially feature films. She knows that her starsign is a big plus when working towards being a director: "I am a proper Capricorn," she said, "I want to control everything."

Kate McKinnon

Badass, groundbreaking comedy queen and "Weird Barbie" herself, Kate McKinnon is a queer Capricorn who has made her mark on "SNL," Hollywood, and the world. The writer, comedian, actor and, more recently, author of a children's novel is an incredible example of a Capricorn's talent, discipline, ambition, and determination to maintain a true work-life balance. "I left SNL and then the next day I was like, I'm a farmer, I'm a carpenter," McKinnon told Drew Barrymore when she appeared on her talkshow recently. "And so I moved to the woods and now I'm a farmer and a carpenter and I grow my own food and I'm just building stuff." We love that this Barbie really can do it all!

Cynthia Erivo

When talking with the LA Times recently, the "Wicked" star who's been on a whirlwind of a press tour with Ariana Grande said, of being a Capricorn: "We're methodical. We get things done. We tend to be know-it-alls." The dynamic queer actress and powerhouse singer continued, "We have emotions, but we're not necessarily the best at showing them. So sometimes they build and then all pop out at once. We can be deeply caring. We're deeply loyal." Add to that her triple-threat entertainment talent, and her ability to marvel at those holding space for song lyrics, and we've got a true Capricorn all-rounder, and a shining star!

Michaela Jaé Rodriguez

Capricorns are all about making it happen, and they are particularly impressive because they're actually ready to do the work that it takes to achieve the magical, luxurious life they want. Yahoo! Life's description of a Capricorn feels very MJ. The "Pose" breakout, whose talents extend from emotional acting roles to pop princess performances, and beyond, is very much a Capricorn. Per TODAY, "Capricorns know how to work – and they know how to party. Their personality matches the season's blend of reflection and merriment." When asked what she loves about being a Capricorn, Rodriguez has said: "We are great perfectionists," she says. "We're not perfect, but we love to try to be perfect...We're going to always give you a good something. Whatever it is, we're going to try to make sure it is the best that it can be." And did!
