Who's Who (and Who Won) At the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards

Queer joy and unity were in the air on Thursday, March 27, 2025 when The 36th Annual GLAAD Media took place at the Beverly Hilton.

Hosted by the hilarious Michael Urie, more awards were announced onstage than ever before. Below are a list of winners and photos. (Text from GLAAD.)

Outstanding Comedy Series

"Doctor Odyssey"'s Joshua Jackson presented the cast of "Hacks" with the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Outstanding Drama Series

Of "Abbott Elementary" fame, the hilarious Lisa Ann Walter and William Stanford Davis announced Fox's "9-1-1: Lone Star" the winner of Outstanding Drama Series.

Outstanding Podcast

Podcast royalty in their own right, "We Can Do Hard Things"' hosts Glennon Doyle and Abby Wambach took the stage to announce the next category. "Glennon and I have three kids. Two are queer and one is straight – but don't worry, we tell that one every day that we love her no matter what," Wambach shared.

She added: "To all the young queer people afraid to be themselves in this American moment, listen to me. We want to tell you what we tell our own children: They are not scared of you because you are bad – they are scared of you because you are FREE. They need grey and you are neon."

And the winner is... "Baby, This is Keke Palmer."

Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series

Koch also announced the winner for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series to be Netflix's "Baby Reindeer."

Outstanding New Series

"Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story"'s Cooper Koch announced the winner for Outstanding New Series. He shared, "I feel incredibly lucky – and deeply proud – to stand here tonight as an openly queer actor among this powerful, vibrant community. Let's be honest: Being ourselves in spaces like Hollywood, professional sports, government, or business hasn't always been easy. Yet, every year, brave voices rise up, break barriers, and show us the boundless possibilities of living authentically."

And the winner is... "Agatha All Along!"

Outstanding Reality Series – Competition

"The Traitors"' Dylan Efron presented the award for Outstanding Reality Series – Competition to "RuPaul's Drag Race."

Outstanding Reality Series

Efron also presented the award for Outstanding Reality Series to the cast of "The Real Housewives of New York City."

Outstanding Video Game

The co-stars of the GLAAD Media Award-winning video game "The Last of Us: Part 2," Ashley Johnson and Shannon Woodward, reunited for a special on stage moment. The two made history with their characters', Ellie and Dina's, kiss in the game.

They then announced the winner: "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" (BioWare / Electronic Arts).

"Wicked"'s Marissa Bode and podcaster and author Jay Shetty announced the big winner to be Netflix's "Will & Harper."

Outstanding Film – Streaming or TV

Ghosts' Brandon Scott Jones and The Z-Suite's Nico Santos took the stage. Santos made a powerful statement, saying, "Listen up, right wingers: We see what you're up to. But we're not going to let you put marriage equality on the chopping block. Any threat to our families is a threat to all families."

Then, they announced the winner: Hallmark's "The Groomsmen: Second Chances."

Outstanding Music Artist

Grammy winners Maren Morris and Lil Nas X took the stage to announce the winner of the coveted category. "2024 was a dope year for music. Fans all over the world heard themselves in these incredible nominees for Outstanding Music Artist," Lil Nas X said.

And the winner is... Doechii!
